Korea: Plastic Surgery and Other Medical Tourism Options

In Korea, plastic surgery is widely accepted. People often talk about how they see folks walking in around in their plastic surgery bandages. Although it might seem dystopian to some, it has created a flourishing industry that is light-years more advanced than the U.S. Plastic surgery in Korea, along with its capable healthcare system, makes medical tourism in Korea super affordable.

I have not gotten plastic surgery, but that doesn’t mean I can’t contribute to the medical tourism industry! If there is one thing you should know about me, it’s that I love non-invasive procedures.

You don’t have to go under the knife to enjoy what Korea has to offer. There are plenty of medical tourism concierges that’ll take care of everything from pairing you with a doctor to booking your hotel. Here are some of my favorite service providers with relationships with many clinics around Seoul, Korea. Interested in contacting them? All you have to do is select “check here to email ______.” I’ve already drafted your email for you.

DocFinder

Docfinder was one of the first concierge services I learned about in the late 2010s. Like most medical tourism companies in Korea, they offer a full-service experience customizable to your needs. For example, they coordinated my transportation since I needed more confidence in my public transportation navigation skills.

I first used the Seoul Medical Guide in 2022 and again in 2024. They’re a capable service that also utilizes WhatsApp to communicate with you on the day of your procedure. They fit me in on short notice, which I appreciated. I only had one day in Korea, and they quickly got me in and out of the clinic.

I have not used Beauty Hopper because they did not offer facial or non-plastic services at my inquiry, but they’re on my “to try” list. They are more active and responsive on social media. You can see many of their client results on their Instagram, too.
