These days, I am seeing more and more people create newsletters. I think its a great alternative to blogging.
At the end of the day, you want to own your platform and your content. Social media sites can have a hidden clause that basically allows them to use the content you publish anyway they like. For example, when Vero was experiencing it’s 15 minutes of relevancy, people noticed something icky in their terms. It said,

That is some super shadier terms there! Its no wonder no one is talking about it anymore.
All I’m saying is if Instagram is shut down due to technical difficulties, that can hinder your livelihood. Do something about it before its too late.
